At the end of a first successful year the Bourne Bus is fundraising £120,000 for years 2 – 5 of operation. As a thankyou any business that sponsors the bus for £1,000 or more will get their logo added to the bus!
As we run the bus free for users this costs us £30,000 a year to keep our minibus on the road, taxed, MOTd and serviced, as well as covering the increasing costs of fuel.
We were fortunate in year one in getting full grants and funding as well as contributions from local Parishes. As we move into year two of operation we are seeking funding and sponsorship from local companies as well as contributions from generous benefactors.
