The Bourne Community Bus offers local resident travel for all.

The minibus has 15 seats and easy disabled lift access, so you can just turn up at one of our stops and get on and get off where you want.
The bus runs every Tuesday to Friday 08:30 – 16:00 and Wed 08:30 – 12:30 around local Bourne villages, using 30 safe pick up points.
From June 2025 each journey is £3.00 paid by card but still FREE with any bus pass. You can donate to help our running costs with a card on the bus or online here.
The minibus is for local residents of all ages, regardless of physical ability. It offers essential transport links for those living off main train and bus routes, giving easy access to local shops, social activities, health centres and Bourne Community College for after-school activities.
Thorney Island, Chidham and Hambrook, Southbourne, Westbourne, Compton and Stoughton Parishes and Emsworth have come together to offer this community minibus, run and managed by Community Transport Sussex, that also runs other local bus services.
