As of January 2024 the Bourne Bus has officially joined Community Transport Sussex. The joint objective of both CT Sussex and the Bourne Bus is the reduction of social isolation and loneliness.
Matt Roberts, CEO of CT Sussex said, “The stated aim of CT Sussex is to create an integrated community transport network across the whole of West Sussex so that no one is disadvantaged by not having access to safe, affordable and accessible transport.”
Bourne Bus development Manager Andrew Kerry-Bedell said, “It’s great to be joining CT Sussex. This will enable us to grow our current successful service that’s ran 3,000 completely free passenger journeys in 2023. It also means more support and new options for new routes and buses in the future”
