The Bourne Bus always needs local volunteer drivers. We would love it if you got in touch to join with our friendly driving team!
We warmly welcome new recruits to our growing community of 12 volunteers driving the bus. We even have a quarterly drivers social get-together at local Emsworth pubs and occasional prize giving!
We have drivers from all over the Bourne area from Chidham and Hambrook to Southbourne, Nutbourne, Westbourne and Emsworth.
Most of our volunteers drive the bus two to four half days a month on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Whilst drivers give their time for free on weekday driving, some also offer their time for the social and leisure hires we offer on weekends and Mondays and evenings. We pay drivers up to £10 an hour for driving for group hires.
We provide drivers with free MIDAS training and free DBS checks.
