About

The Bourne Community Bus provides FREE resident travel.

The minibus has 16 seats and easy disabled lift access, so you can just turn up at one of 20 stops and get on and then get off where you want.

The bus runs every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30 – 16:00 around local villages and uses safe pick up and drop-off points for passengers.

It’s FREE so no cash is needed to travel, but you can donate to help our running costs with a card on the bus or online here.

The minibus is for local residents of all ages, regardless of physical ability. It offers essential transport links for those living off main train and bus routes, giving easy access to local shops, social activities, health centres and Bourne Community College for after-school activities.

Thorney Island Baker Barracks, Chidham and Hambrook, Southbourne and Westbourne Parishes and Emsworth have come together to offer this community minibus, run and managed by Community Transport Sussex that also runs other local bus services.
